Villscheider's Riesling is an elegant wine, which presents itself with a greenish color tending to light yellow, and a fragrant bouquet of floral aromas and hints of fresh fruit. On the palate it is fresh, lively, with a pleasant acidity and a slight residual sweetness, with a cork closure.
Villscheider is a farm located in the hills above Bressanone in South Tyrol where it was founded the homonymous winery which Florian Hilpod has owned since 1997. Eight hectares are planted with fruit trees, while the vineyard extends over a hectare and a half approximately. The Hilpold family has focused on local vines such as sylvaner, kerner and riesling from which excellent white wines are born, known for their fruity aromas and the richness that characterizes the wonderful territory from which they come.
Riesling is a high altitude wine from grapes grown on particularly stony soils, to which we owe the remarkable minerality. Fermentation and maturation take place in steel in order to preserve and preserve the scents that characterize each Villscheider label. A perfect wine with oysters and seafood.
