Jungano is a wine produced by the San Salvatore winery, with an intense and full ruby red color, deep hints of ripe cherries and blackberries on the nose, light oriental spicy notes with some balsamic hints. In the mouth it is perfectly balanced and full, with a good body, extremely fresh and with a long and persistent finish.
The San Salvatore 1988 farm was born in a unique terroir in the heart of the Cilento National Park where hills and small mountains come close to the sea. A soil rich in minerals and an ideal exposure for a healthy ripening of the grapes. An agriculture where the interaction of man only serves to support what nature had established. Manual harvest in small plastic crates. The grapes are softly pressed, de-stemmed and brought to 4 ° C and cryomacerated for 6 hours. After fermentation in steel vats at a very low temperature, it is refined for 6 months on its own fine lees.
