Marisa Cuomo's Costa d'Amalfi Rosso is a fresh and captivating wine with hints of red fruit and spices that well represent a territory as unique as the land in which it is born.
The Costa d’Amalfi Rosso is part of the noble Marisa Cuomo labels. The result of a process of enhancement of the territory, the Amalfi Coast, recovery of ancient knowledge and cutting-edge processing techniques, the Red Amalfi Coast today has an international dimension. Like the others of Marisa Cuomo, in fact, he is appreciated all over the world for his ability to give those who taste him the flavors of his land.
The Costa d’Amalfi Rosso comes from Aglianico and Piedirosso grapes grown in the vineyards of Cetara and Raito, a hamlet of Vietri Sul Mare with a southern exposure and an altitude ranging between 100/250 meters above sea level. The terrain is composed of dolomitic-limestone rocks. The harvest is strictly manual with the use of small boxes. The production area enjoys a unique position with a breeze that keeps the grapes fresh in the summer and dry in the winter, a typically Mediterranean microclimate.
Costa d’Almafi Rosso has a beautiful ruby red color with a rich nose among which hints of red fruit, cherries and spicy notes of black pepper stand out. On the palate it is fresh and pleasant with gentle tannins and good persistence.
