Sélection d'Emile Champagne is a cuvée dedicated to Frédéric Louvet's grandfather, Henry known as Emile, a key figure in the history of the winery. The cuvée d'Emile shows a straw yellow with golden reflections and hints of fruit and bread crust. The pinot noir gives structure and toasted hints while the chardonnay brings freshness and breadth.
Yve Louvet is a small company in the heart of the Reims mountain that uses its own grapes in the vineyards of Louvois, Bouzy and Trepail, where the vineyards are classified as premier cru and grand cry. Care in the vineyard is considered a fundamental aspect to create a great champagne, combined with the most modern techniques to guarantee a traditional champagne but with a modern imprint. The Maison originated in 1835 and since then 6 generations have succeeded one another who with dedication and attention to production have created a very interesting champagne capable of challenging many established Masions without relegating.
