A Rosé Champagne of great charm, a pure expression of fruit and elegance. Bright colour, intense aromas and a generous mouthful make it perfect for good company, summer aperitifs and refined desserts.
Maison Jean-Noël Haton is an independent family winery at Damery, in the Vallée de la Marne (Champagne, France). Founded in 1928 by Octave Haton, it is run today by Jean-Noël and his son Sébastien, together with other members of the family, who follow every stage from the vineyard to the cellar to make their cuvées by traditional methods and with respect for the terroir.
Cuvée Rosé comes from a skilful blend of Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with a share vinified as red. Aged for at least three years, it shows finesse, structure and a marked aromatic identity. In the glass it is raspberry pink with elegant coppery reflections and a creamy white mousse.
The nose is intense and fragrant, with notes of redcurrant, fresh strawberry and stone fruit, followed by orange peel, pine resin and a delicate toasted hint. On the palate the attack is moreish and refined, with a broad, generous finish of great persistence. Ideal as an aperitif, it is a fine match for fruit desserts, strawberry tart above all.
