The Brut Vintage 2008 Collet champagne belongs to the production called "Collection Privée", a champagne with a great personality, complex and changeable in the glass. One of the flagship wines of the Maison.
Champagne Vintage 2008 Collet is one of the best Premiers and Grands Crus of Champagne. Produced for 75% of Chardonnay from the Premiers Crus and Grands Crus villages of the Côte des Blancs which bring the typical freshness of the Vertus Chardonnay, the typical softness of the Oger Chardonnay, the richness and complexity of the Avize Chardonnay and the elegance of the cru by Chouilly. These exceptional wines are vinified in oak barrels allowing their brioche aromas to fully develop. 20% Pinot Noir contributes richness and power through Premiers Crus such as Mareuilsur-Aÿ, Hautvillers, Tauxières and iconic Grands Crus such as Louvois, Ambonnay and Aÿ. 5% Meunier from Chigny-les-Roses and Ville-Dommange closes this cuvée with roundness and fruitiness.
The Brut Vintage 2008 Collet champagne has a beautiful bright straw yellow with bright yellow reflections. The nose is full of beautiful facets to look for such as the light notes of raspberry, lemon, currant up to the notes of evolution such as toasted hazelnut, toasted almond, butter. Creamy on the palate with a caressing perlage, sapid with good freshness and acidity.
