A Franciacorta Rosé that wins you over at first glance with its elegant antique-pink colour, and seduces with a fine, persistent perlage. Every sip is a perfect balance of intensity and refinement: notes of small red fruits weave through a vibrant freshness, for an experience that is sophisticated and involving. Ideal for celebrating a special moment, or for turning a simple aperitif into something memorable.
Ferghettina was born in the heart of Franciacorta and is the fruit of the Gatti family’s vision: since 1991 they have built a project founded on quality, terroir and precision. The estate selects grapes from a number of vineyards across the appellation and vinifies them separately, to bring out every nuance of the land and to create balanced, recognisable cuvées.
Franciacorta Rosé Brut DOCG is made exclusively from Pinot Noir selected in 14 vineyards across four villages of Franciacorta. Pressing is done with a Marmonnier press, which preserves the character of the grapes as fully as possible, and only the free-run must is used. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel, and the wine then ages on the lees for 36 months, developing complexity and finesse.
It shows an elegant antique pink with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose offers refined scents of blackberry and raspberry, while the palate stands out for structure, balance and long persistence. Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with delicate starters, fish dishes, shellfish and light preparations.
