A Chablis of all respect. At the first sampling, you notice a definite and pleasant presence right away.
Founded in 1850, the Alain Geoffroy property is a family business that produces 45 hectares of vineyards and produces Chablis wines that support the tradition and authenticity of terroir. Fresh and fruity wines with a great mineral impression. Today, in the Alain Geoffroy estate, we continue to nourish the vines in such a way as to give wines that are not only drinkable, but a sensory journey to the pleasure of the table. All of our Chablis are produced in Kimmeridgian geological areas (Jurassic period). The aromatic richness of our wine and the strong mineral content derive from this incredible soil potential.
It has a golden yellow color with greenish reflections, brilliant, clear and luminous; The nose has maturity and freshness in a succession of fruity notes and flowers, including menthol, acacia, citronella and grapefruit, freshly baked bread. On the delicately powerful palate, wide body perfectly supported by good acidity, without aggression. Long and persistent closure with good minerality with hints of wood notes.
