The Spumante d'Asti Dolce from the I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano winery is a product with a vibrant straw yellow color with slightly golden nuances, the nose expresses floral hints of lime, and delicate notes of white pulp peach. In the mouth it is pleasantly sweet and of medium persistence.
The I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano winery was founded by the Scavino and Ceretto families in 1976 in an area with a wine vocation such as the province of Asti in Piedmont. The intent was to create a reality oriented towards the quality of Moscato Bianco grapes, rather than quantity for purely commercial use as it had always been in those areas. And it is precisely to the continuous search for quality that we owe the success of I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano, respectful of the more traditional and natural processes of viticulture and processing of grapes in the cellar. Today the company owns 25 hectares of vineyards between Santo Stefano, Canelli and Calosso, as well as renting another 16 hectares of the prestigious Tenuta San Maurizio owned by Count Carlo Vittorio Incisa Beccaria, for a total of 41 hectares of vineyards.
The Spumante d’Asti from I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano is produced with Moscato Bianco grapes in the hilly vineyards between Santo Stefano Belbo, Canelli and Canosso, characterized by a sandy and clayey soil. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature of 15-18 ° C until the alcohol content of 7% Vol is reached, followed by subsequent filtrations to obtain clarity and stability until bottling at low temperatures to preserve it in the best possible way. An ideal wine with desserts and dry pastries at the end of the meal.
