Alaziza of the Feudi del Pisciotto winery is a straw yellow wine, the nose expresses hints of orange blossom of the zibibbo, in the mouth it is extremely light and smooth, remarkably balanced, with a long and very persistent finish.
Paolo Panerai is the enlightened entrepreneur to whom we owe the success of a historic Chianti Classico winery such as Castellare di Castellina, and the birth of the Feudi del Pisciotto winery which extends for 44 hectares on the hills between Caltagirone and Piazza Armerina in the heart of Sicily. The main grape is Nero d’Avola, and the winery is characterized by the historic millstone in which wine was made already at the time of the Greeks and Romans. It is here that 250 meters above sea level, a few kilometers from the coast where a perfect microclimate reigns, the vines are cultivated with maniacal care and excellent wines are produced from Cerasuolo di Vittoria to Frappato, from Chardonnay to Merlot that make Feudi del Pisciotto one of the most significant winemaking realities of the island. Noteworthy is the collection dedicated to the Great Stylists who sign the individual labels in a tribute to wine and fashion, and part of the proceeds from sales are reinvested for the recovery of a Sicilian work of art.
