In 1881 Anton Jermann moved from a village between Austria and Slovenia to Villanova in the province of Gorizia, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in one of the wine areas that made and make the history of wine in Italy, founding a winery of success that has conquered the world. A territory historically suited for viticulture that Silvio Jermann, a great-grandson of Anton, today has been able to interpret in his own way, year after year, in that complicated balance between innovation and respect for ties and traditions that link his family to these lands. From the very beginning he was destined to leave a lasting mark in the world of wine. “Silvio Jermann is today the most representative winemaker of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Jermann’s Pinot Grigio has an intense straw-yellow colour with a light antique pink nuance. It has an intense aroma, ample and fruity, with excellent persistence. The taste is dry, soft, particularly harmonious for the full body. It stands out for its right sugar and alcohol content and good fixed acidity, which helps to enhance its aromas and maintain them over time.
