Kerner is a fresh and pleasantly aromatic white wine from the Villscheider winery from South Tyrol. It has a light yellow color with greenish strokes, and has a scented bouquet of apricot, peach and elderberry. It is mineral on the palate and we find the fruity and slightly sweet olfactory sensations.
Villscheider is a farm located in the hills above Bressanone in South Tyrol where it was founded the homonymous winery which Florian Hilpod has owned since 1997. Eight hectares are planted with fruit trees, while the vineyard extends over a hectare and a half approximately. The Hilpold family has focused on local vines such as sylvaner, kerner and riesling from which excellent white wines are born, known for their fruity aromas and the richness that characterizes the wonderful territory from which they come.
Kerner is a high altitude wine from grapes grown on stony, calcareous and permeable soils to which we owe its marked minerality. Fermentation and maturation take place in steel in order to preserve and preserve the scents that characterize each Villscheider label.
