Cupido is the red of Casata Mergè produced from the Cesanese and Nero buono vines, in the area of Lazio between Frascati and Monte Porzio Catone, with a wine vocation from Roman times. Made by a ruby red color and fruity aroma, it's pleasantly drunk with a long and persistent finish.
Casata Mergè is a winery in Lazio region that was born in that area between Frascati and Monte Porzio Catone so dear to the Romans for the production of excellent wine. On this millenary tradition that is lost in the mists of time, the story of the Mergè family is based. In the early twentieth century, Manlio Mergè and his wife founded the winery, today led by the third generation, faithful to the traditional cultivation of indigenous centuries-old vines.
Cupid is a wine that is pleasantly left to drink, ripe and ample, with fruity scents of cherry, currant and sour cherries. Due to its marked pleasantness, it takes its name from the child of love with the firm intention of making the palate fall in love.
