The Bierbrand is a distillate of beer aged in barrique produced by Capovilla, whose main ingredient is provided by the Theresianer brewery for Vittorio Capovilla. The color is crystal clear, while to the nose is characterized by vegetal and fresh fruit scents. Excellent and tasteful distillate produced respecting the nature as in the tradition of Capovilla.
The Capovilla distillery was founded in Rosà in the province of Vicenza by Vittorio Capovilla in the 1970s, who as a technician and mechanic of oenology tools first, decided to become an entrepreneur in the distillation sector. After learning the secrets of distillation in Germany, Vittorio Capovilla’s company produces distillates from organic farming, from fruit that is spontaneous and always cultivated with maximum respect for the environment.
From the passion of Capovilla company for this craft comes the Bierbrand barrique, from the beer of the Theresanier brewery subjected to double fermentation in a bain-marie and aged in oak barrels for about 48 months. Precisely because of this fermentation process in barriques, the result vaguely refers to a Scotch Whiskey while maintaining the characteristics of an excellent beer.
