With Airali, Tenuta Carretta gives its fullest reading of the Alta Langa’s vocation for great Metodo Classico sparkling wines, making the most of every vintage through craft handling and long ageing in the bottle.

Airali Pas Dosé Alta Langa DOCG is a vintage Metodo Classico sparkling wine made mainly from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown on the hills of the Alta Langa. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle by the traditional method, followed by at least 36 months on the lees. The result is a fine, persistent bubble: elegant, complex and pleasantly dry, faithfully expressing the character of the Piedmont hills.

On the nose it is intense and characterful, with notes of bread crust, dried fruit, dried figs and honey. On the palate it is elegant, complex and mineral, supported by a pleasant savouriness and a freshness that carries its length. Thanks to the zero dosage it drinks dry and precise, and goes beautifully with fish, shellfish, delicate pasta dishes and white meat.
