The Mèva of the Colle Picchioni Winery is a white IGP wine from Lazio and is a distinctive mark of Laia and Valerio Di Mauro. A wine with a straw yellow color tone, with an olfactory perception of acacia and elderberry flowers, enriched by delicate tropical notes. In the drink it is an explosion of freshness and minerality with a balanced and persistent structure.
The Colle Picchioni winery of the Di Mauro family is located in Lazio in Frattocchie di Marino in the Castelli Romani area. Founded in 1976 from the intuition of Paola Di Mauro and subsequently led by her son Armando, the winery is today a point of reference for lovers of quality wine and Valerio and Laia, with their young and enterprising spirit, have been able to renew the winery, maintaining unchanged respect for ancient traditions.
Mèva which in Catalan, Laia’s mother tongue means My***, underlines the importance of her own culture and its fusion with that of Valerio and Colle Picchioni. Wine becomes a bridge between two worlds, a symbol of union and openness to new experiences.
It is a My that becomes ours, a symbol of a shared path, Mèva thus becomes an authentic expression of that place and of those who cultivate it.
Straw yellow color, clear and bright. The nose expresses floral aromas of acacia and elderberry, enriched by exotic fruity notes. In the mouth it is fresh, savoury and of good persistence, with a mineral finish that underlines its elegance. Serve at a temperature between 10 °C and 12 °C.
