The Taurasi Fatica Contadina Terredora is a complex wine, rich in aromas with a broad bouquet with clear hints of black cherries, berries, plums. A perfect wine to enrich traditional Italian meat dishes.
The Terredora Winery occupies a prominent place in wine-growing Campania thanks to the excellent taste of its wines.
The Taurasi Fatica Contadina Terredora is produced with selected Aglianico grapes grown in the vineyards of Lapio and Montemiletto which, after soft pressing, macerate on the skins for 10-12 days. After malolactic fermentation the wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels and then when the blend is completed they will mature in Slovenian oak barrels. The result is a wine of intense ruby color with garnet reflections, with a large, complex, intense bouquet with varietal notes of black cherry, wild berries, plum, violet, spicy and mineral hints, it is elegant, soft, velvety and intense; on the palate it offers notes of plum, black cherry, black pepper and a slight hint of tar. Of remarkable structure, it is extremely long-lived.
