The "Vetere" Paestum IGP Rosato, with a silkscreened collectible bottle, was born in the Cilento National Park, where the Ancient Greeks planted historic vines such as Aglianico and Fiano.
The San Salvatore winery and its vineyards are located precisely in Capaccio-Paestum, in the province of Salerno, where the gaze embraces the three great temples of Paestum. The vines grown by the company are the same ones that covered Magna Graecia and in particular the “Vetere” Paestum PGI Rosato is a pure Aglianico. The production philosophy is based with conviction on respect for nature and traditional techniques. So the vines are not stressed and the natural rhythms are supported as much as possible. The harvest and defoliation operations are 100% manual, the pressing is ultra-soft and the winery uses a photovoltaic system to reduce the environmental impact. The organic rosé is an elegant wine, suitable for an aperitif “with a view of the temples”.
