The Blanc de Blancs by Louis Picamelot is a Brut Méthode Traditionnelle with an intense yellow color with green reflections. Particularly fresh on the palate, fruity aromas stand out that enhance the high quality of the Chardonnay grapes from which it comes. Ideal for an aperitif and especially to accompany Asian cuisine.
Louis Picamelot son of a cooper and winemaker founded his Maison in 1926, among the very first inhabitants of the well-known French town with a wine vocation Rully to launch the production of a Burgundian sparkling wine called “Bourgogne Mousseux”. Today to the third generation Alain Chautard, Louis’s great-grandson, continues to produce excellent wines by exporting them all over the world.
The Blanc de Blancs by Louis Picamelot is a Brut Méthode Traditionnelle that comes from the assembly of white wines from Chardonnay grapes particularly suited to the production of bubbles. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place initially in a stainless steel cuvée, then undergoes a second mixing in the bottle called “Prize de Mousse”, with the addition of sugar and yeasts. The wines are aged on the lees for at least 9 months before being bottled. The result is a fresh, light and fragrant wine ideal as an aperitif.
