Adelphi Selection is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled in 2007 by Glentauchers, an old school Scottish distillery, and bottled by Adelphi in 2016 after careful selection by the master distillers.
The Scottish distillery Glentauchers is of the old style, late 1800s, in the heart of Speyside in Scotland, where you can find the spirit of the old and wise distillers of a time gone. Founded in 1879, it has experienced mixed fortunes, like many of the Scottish distilleries, and between 1930 and 1989 it was closed several times, passing from one property to another. 1989 was the turning point, and the new owner Allied Distillers managed to capitalize on the investments of the past decades and to revive one of the most representative Single Malts of Speyside.
The Adelphi Selection faithfully preserves the art of distillation of the past by the master distillers of Glentauchers, bottling the best selection in 312 units from a single numbered cask. A whisky that embodies all the spirit of tradition.
