The cellar Velenosi borns in 1984. The entrepreneurs Ercole and Angela Velenosi have combined artisan tradition and cutting-edge technology, creatively interpreting the wine-making process and thus starting a company which grows continually, with Paolo Garbini joining in 2005, and which today spreads worldwide the scents and colours of the Piceno territory through its unique wines.
Ludi was born as a game, as confirmed by its name. Never forget the close connection between wine, pleasantness, joyfulness; all achieved in all seriousness. Wine is teacher of patience; and we learnt to wait as necessary to get intense sips and unique tastes. Continuous care and non stop research are mirrored in the glass highlights. This is why Velenosi wines tickle the palate with their authentic and fantastic tastes, spreading worldwide the Piceno territory tradition and accompanying each course with the unique taste which only good wine may provide.
Color deep ruby red, bright and shining. Bouquet penetrating and lingering aromas that carry to the nose precise scents of pulpy fruit, especially blackberry, along with hints of liquorice and graphite. Light balsamic overtones complete the wholesomeness of the aroma. Austere, silky mouthfeel, with a strong impact and with excellent follow-through, a strong, unerring character hallmarked by dense yet soft, subtle tannins.
