Sông Cái is a Vietnamese producer that celebrates biodiversity and local tradition through spirits of its own kind. The company works with small growers and local communities, selecting native ingredients and championing craft techniques. Production is in small batches, in direct-fired copper stills fed by hand — evidence of an approach that is authentic and deeply tied to the land.
Sông Cái Viet Nam Floral Gin is an aromatic gin built on a base of rice and molasses spirit. What sets it apart is the use of five Vietnamese flowers — dragon claw, ylang ylang, jasmine, magnolia and pomelo — distilled separately to keep each aroma intact. The result is an elegant, complex spirit that expresses the botanical richness of Vietnam in full.
The nose is intensely floral, with enveloping notes of jasmine and ylang ylang, enriched by citrus shades of pomelo. The palate is smooth, balanced and persistent, with a delicately scented, fresh finish. Ideal for refined cocktails or to be enjoyed neat. It goes perfectly with spiced dishes, Asian cooking, shellfish and dishes built on aromatic herbs.
