One of the Maisons most sought after by Champagne lovers on the other side of the Alps. Brut Réserve is a Champagne that wins you over with its pleasantly delicate, approachable bouquet. Now available in magnum, in its fine wooden case.
One of the strengths of Maison Nicolas Feuillatte is its agreement with the Centre Vinicole cooperative, which gives it access to an unmatched 2,250 hectares of vineyard to the north, where the climate and the Atlantic and continental influences favour excellent fruit. The naturally watered limestone subsoil, the plantings on the slopes and a great variety of crus put an enormous range of terroirs at the Maison’s disposal, allowing it to reach excellence every year, even in the poorer vintages. Picking is done by hand to protect the fruit. The grapes come from 13 of the 17 Grand Cru vineyards of Champagne, 33 of the 42 Premiers Crus and 259 of the 320 other Crus within the appellation. From the Marne valley to the Côte des Bar, by way of the Saint-Thierry massif, the Montagne de Reims, the Côte de Sézanne and the Ardre valley, they can count on the skill and the demanding standards of more than 5,000 growers.
The nose opens on light aromas that merge with fresh white fruit (apple, pear, peach) and spice (curry and turmeric), with a marked expression of ripe fruit. The palate is clean, elegant and complex from the start, with a delicate bubble that brings freshness to the finish.
