“2020 is a year of suspension, a difficult year, which has seen us protagonists in facing and overcoming these months that have put us to the test with courage. From this awareness, the idea of ​​a new project was born: a white label, intended as a blank page to be rewritten and in which to find the strength to follow that light that projects us towards the future “. This is how Nadia Zenato presents the new project, owner of the Veronese winery of the same name known throughout the world for its Lugana and Valpolicella red wines, primarily Amarone. A concept that you began to come to life through the meeting with the Bergamo artist Francesco Pedrini, who for several years had been working on the ambitious project of redesigning the entire celestial vault on paper, staring at the stars that compose it one by one. .
And that led to the birth of Contemporaneo Infinito, an artistic project that involves one of the most emblematic labels of Zenato’s wine production, Ripassa Valpolicella doc Ripasso Superiore. 2020 bottles of Ripassa 2017 in special edition, proposed in pairs, whose labels reproduce the work Contemporaneo Infinito divided into two sections: Contemporary and Infinite. All numbered from 1 to 2020. Each trunk, in a limited edition, contains, together with the Ripassa bottles, the fine art image of the work of Francesco Pedrini (pastels, pigments, graphite and inks on paper, 31X15 cm) signed by artist.
“Ours wants to be a message of hope – declares Nadia Zenato – linked to a tangible sign of help to the cultural and art world that has been severely hit with the closure of exhibitions, art galleries and cultural events, to which we are our Zenato Academy project is also united by a strong bond ”. “Part of the proceeds from the sale of this initiative – continues Nadia Zenato – will be donated to the non-profit cultural association The Blank of Bergamo (www.theblank.it), which supports and promotes young artists”.
