Les Crêtes Mon Blanc

Les Crêtes was founded in 1989 in Aymavilles by Costantino Charrère, who with foresight and determination created one of the most important winemaking realities in the Aosta Valley. Costantino’s contribution was providential in renewing Aosta Valley viticulture and elevating it to an international level.

Les Cretes is coordinated by the Charrère family, which for five generations has been inextricably linked to the production of high-quality wine. The company currently has about 25 hectares of vineyards cultivated with international varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Nero, Syrah, and native vines such as Petite Arvine, Mayolet, Cornalin, Fumin, Petit Rouge and Nebbiolo. The annual production of Les Crêtes wines is around 200,000 bottles produced.

Born from the vineyards of Les Crêtes, located in one of the most suggestive areas of the Aosta Valley, Mon Blanc is a wine that tells the story of a unique territory. The grapes, grown at an altitude of between 500 and 700 meters, benefit from a cool and breezy climate, which gives the wines a natural acidity and an intense aroma. The vinification, carried out with great care and attention, enhances the varietal characteristics of the grapes, giving life to a fresh, elegant and well-balanced wine. Mon Blanc is an authentic expression of the Aosta Valley terroir, a wine that brings the freshness and energy of the Alps to the glass.

Crystalline straw yellow color, bright and clear. On the nose it presents itself with a broad and complex bouquet, characterized by intense citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon, enriched by floral nuances of hawthorn and delicate exotic nuances. On the palate it is fresh, savoury and persistent, with a perfect balance between acidity and softness. It closes with a pleasant bitter note and a mineral aftertaste.”
