The Chardonnay Les Crêtes 2023 harvest is an elegant and versatile white, ideal to accompany delicate fish dishes or a simple aperitif. The balance between freshness and flavor makes it a very pleasant wine. Obtained from Chardonnay grapes grown at high altitude, the vinification in steel enhances freshness and flavor, making it a perfect wine for the summer.
Les Crêtes was founded in 1989 in Aymavilles by Costantino Charrère, who with foresight and determination created one of the most important winemaking realities in the Aosta Valley. Costantino’s contribution was providential in renewing Aosta Valley viticulture and elevating it to an international level.
Les Cretes is coordinated by the Charrère family, which for five generations has been inextricably linked to the production of high-quality wine. The company currently has about 25 hectares of vineyards cultivated with international varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Nero, Syrah, and native vines such as Petite Arvine, Mayolet, Cornalin, Fumin, Petit Rouge and Nebbiolo. The annual production of Les Crêtes wines is around 200,000 bottles produced.
Born in the majestic Alps of Aosta, the Chardonnay of Les Crêtes is a true oenological jewel. The vineyards, nestled on sunny and ventilated slopes, give grapes rich in aromas and flavors. The careful vinification in steel enhances the freshness and minerality of this wine, making it an ideal companion for moments of relaxation.
Straw yellow color with greenish reflections, on the nose, notes of green apple, pear and white flowers intertwine with delicate mineral nuances, in the mouth, the taste is fresh, savory and persistent, with a long and pleasant finish. A sip of Chardonnay Les Crêtes is a sensory journey through the mountains, an unforgettable experience for all wine lovers.
