Japanese Pure Malt Whiskey Hatozaki is one of the two products with which Kaikyo Distillery presents itself to the world of Japanese Whiskeys. A distillate with a noble soul and a delicate aromatic bouquet enriched with spicy notes. A bottle to be enjoyed after dinner on the right occasion.
The Kaikyo Distillery is a young company in the now consolidated panorama of Japanese Whiskys, owned by the Yonezawa family who already made themselves known with a Sake line based on the quality of the raw material and an innovative technologically advanced production. The name is inspired by the longest bridge in the world Akashi-Kaikyo that connects Kobe to Awaji island. With the Hatozaki line, Kaikyo aims to carve out a space between fans with two labels, one Blended and one Pure Malt.
Pure Malt is the blend obtained from pure malt whisky of the Hatozaki line, which already with its iridescent yellow color in amber with golden reflections, affirms its strong personality. Floral scents stand out on the nose, which subsequently refer to spicy notes. In the mouth it’s full, harmonious with a round taste that makes it very pleasant to drink.
