Sètage Brut

The Canevel Spumanti company was founded in 1979 in Valdobbiadene, the main town of the Valdobbiadene DOCG denomination, founded by the expert and admirer of Prosecco sparkling wines Mario Caramel, who based his doctrine on the creation of excellent sparkling wines reflecting territoriality. “Canevel” in the local dialect means “small cellar”, the corner where the best wines, with their secrets and ancient traditions are jealously guarded and preserved. Since the first year of production, the Cantina Canevel has had as its foundation the far-sighted vision of integrating the entire production chain, trying to cover all the steps that bring the grapes to the wine, from the plant to the bottle, therefore starting from the careful selection of the grapes better for winemaking and sparkling winemaking. The Canevel company extends over 26 hectares, all under vineyards, in the most suitable area for the Valdobbiadene DOCG denomination, thus making it one of the most important companies in the Venice region.

The Sètage Brut is a Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOCG of great elegance and depth, which comes from the assembly of the Glera and Chardonnay vines, characterized by a slow sparkling process at a controlled low temperature (between 12-14°C) and with the use of selected yeasts.

Canevel Brut Sètage is a Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOCG and represents the point of reference for Canevel company production. The characteristic of all the sparkling wines of the Canevel company is the thin and elegant bubbles, the Brut Sètage has a straw yellow color with brilliant reflections, on the nose the hint of golden apple prevails over the slightly hinted spicy notes, finally in the mouth it remains dry with good softness.
