Perciato Rosso, produced by the Fenech Farm on the island of Salina, represents an excellence of Sicilian organic viticulture. This wine, obtained from pure Perricone grapes, authentically expresses the volcanic terroir of the island, characterized by soils rich in minerals and a Mediterranean climate particularly favorable to viticulture. The vinification of Perciato Rosso takes place in full compliance with the principles of organic agriculture. The grapes, hand-picked at the right degree of ripeness, are destemmed and softly pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, to best preserve the fruity aromas and freshness of the wine. Subsequently, the wine ages for several months in steel, always at low temperatures, before bottling. Perciato Rosso by Fenech is a wine that authentically expresses the character of the territory of origin. The choice to use exclusively Perricone grapes gives the wine a unique and unmistakable personality. The pure vinification and the refinement in steel enhance the freshness and vivacity of the fruit, making this wine a modern and dynamic interpretation of Sicilian red wine.

Intense ruby ​​red color, with purple reflections that denote the youth of the wine. The nose is complex and persistent, with fruity notes of blackberry, black cherry and blackcurrant, enriched by spicy hints of black pepper, cloves and Mediterranean scrub. Delicate mineral nuances are also perceived, typical of wines produced on volcanic soils. On the palate it is broad and structured, with soft and velvety tannins that envelop a ripe and juicy fruit. The freshness and flavor perfectly balance the structure, giving the wine a pleasant drinkability. The finish is long and persistent, with returns of red fruit and mineral notes.
