Monsordo

The history of the Ceretto family and its winery is passionate and exciting. Founded in 1937 by Riccardo Ceretto in Alba, today after almost 80 years and 100 hectares of vinyards it has grown under the sign of the utmost research in the wine sector, becoming ambassador of Piedmont and Italy in the world. The position of the vineyards in the Langhe and Roero, combined with a dedication towards the maximum environmental sustainability of its products and respect for traditions, make it a heritage of skills of great value

Monsordo Ceretto was born on the Monsordo Bernardina estate where in the 90s cuttings of international vines were planted to understand how the magnificent Langhe area could enrich the vines planted and how they adapt to the territory. The vines selected for Monsordo are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah because they express the territory better than others. The grapes are harvested at different times and vinified separately and then blended with varying percentages depending on the vintage.

Deep ruby color with hints of ripe red fruit and spices. pleasant and broad on the palate with an elegant texture of tannins that make it persuasive and easy to approach.
