The Pinot Grigio Ramato produced by Attems, is a wine with a characteristic coppery color, the nose opens with exponential notes of vanilla and fruit, and delicate hints of grapefruit and cherry. In the mouth it is full-bodied, decidedly savory and of medium persistence.
The Attems winery was founded in Friuli Venezia-Giulia, in 1964 even if its history dates back to 1106, with the first document attesting the possessions of lands suitable for viticulture in Collio by the Attemps dynasty. A millenary tradition that has made this company a point of reference in the territory and which has seen Count Douglas as a protagonist, in fact he deserves the credit for having founded the Consorzio dei Vini del Collio, three in order of time in Italy and first in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Furthermore, since 2000 Attemps has been the owner of the Frescobaldi family which continues to drive while respecting its original characteristics.
