Borderies Mizunara Cognac Park has a bright light orange color, with intense notes of apricot and vanilla on the nose and wrapped in pleasant floral hints of violet. Complex and long-lasting, this cognac owes its precious character to the contribution of a singular and valuable wood, that of the Japanese oak Mizunara, in which the distillate refines to become an extraordinary cognac.<\/p>\n
This finish is the last step of aging. The Borderies, in fact, first rests in French oak barrels for 4 years. After 10 months in new barriques it passes into used barrels, especially from Limousin. Finally, it is transferred for 6 months in Mizunara barrels, reaching the apex of complexity.<\/p>\n
