The vineyards are located in a quadrilateral delimited by the villages of Meynes, Vauvert, St. Gilles, Beaucaire, on a stony, clayey and ferrous soil that extends over the hills with excellent exposure in the area called Coste di Nimes. The municipalities that enjoy this denomination are 24, and excellent red, ros\u00e9 and white wines are produced on an area of \u200b\u200b3950 hectares of vineyards.
