The history of the Ca ‘del Bosco winery has the fanciful connotations of the fairy tale, of a dream that is realized between illuminated visions that go beyond reality. It all began in the mid-1960s\u00a0when Annamaria Clementi Zanella purchased a house in the hills in Erbusco in the heart of Franciacorta surrounded by a chestnut grove and locally called “Ca ‘del bosc”. It’s here that his young son Maurizio was struck on the wine route when his mother planted the first vineyard. A love at first sight that continues in the Cahmpagne region where what was initially an ethereal dream becomes a clear vision, and returned to its wood in the Brescia area at the beginning of the 70s, giving life to what will be one of the most modern and advanced Italian wineries, to whom credit goes to having been able to fully express the great wine potential of a land dedicated to wine.<\/p>\n
With the Corte del Lupo Rosso wine, the C\u00e0 del Bosco winery re-evaluates the red grapes typical of the area, preferring the Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Carm\u00e9n\u00e8re grapes over Cabernet Sauvignon. A complex and accurate vinification in full C\u00e0 del Bosco style. Just think of the washing and whirlpool system of the bunches in soaking tanks\u00a0with a subsequent drying system. After that, the berries fall into the vat from above by gravity, eliminating pumping systems that are the cause of the breakage of the skins and herbaceous residues. The maceration phase in contact with the skins takes place at different times and separately for each of the varieties. After the malolactic fermentation, the various batches are assembled, then refined in wood and steel for another 18 months. At this point the wine is bottled by gravity, in an absolutely natural way, with subsequent refinement in the bottle for 4 months. A wine with a great structure that enhances the most noble winemaking traditions of the Brescia area in the heart of Franciacorta.<\/p>\n
