The Derthona is the emblem of Timorasso, a historic white grape variety of Piedmont. Thanx to Vigneti Massa we owe the recovery of these grapes and their enhancement: from the 80s the farm has relaunched the vine to highlight the great potential of its territory in the white wine sector. Derthona is among the quality white wines that best represent Piedmont, thanks to the tireless activity of Walter Massa and his brilliant intuitions. Derthona owes its characteristics mainly to grapes, of which it retains relevant aspects. Those of Timorasso have medium-large, compact clusters, with spherical berries and fleshy pulp; productivity is fairly erratic but they have good resistance to atmospheric agents and diseases. Their collection is manual, in boxes and the wine is made exclusively in steel.<\/p>\n
The Piccolo Derthona Terra shows a straw yellow color, with citrus scents of lemon and tangerine, while notes of aromatic herbs on the palate and a fresh and\u00a0strong minerality stand out. A great wine for dinner with friends based on fish and shellfish.<\/p>\n
