Stefano Amerighi\u2019s winery stands for sustainability and excellence, which repay the work he has put into reviving old craft techniques founded on sound biodynamic principles. Coming from a long line of growers, Stefano wanted to make wine the way his forebears did: treading the grapes by foot, pruning and working the land according to the phases of the moon. The wine that stands for the estate is Syrah, and the site of the vineyards was chosen with care for the unique qualities of the terroir near Cortona, in the Poggiobello di Farneta district. Out of all this passion, and this love for wine and for what wine stands for, comes Stefano Amerighi\u2019s Syrah \u2014 \u201ca true mirror of my grapes\u201d, as he likes to put it.<\/p>\n
Syrah Rosa Stefano Amerighi is a still biodynamic ros\u00e9 made from grapes grown in the Canonici vineyard and vinified in Amerighi\u2019s own style, with no stabilisers and no filtration.<\/p>\n
It shows a bright coral pink, with a fruity, aromatic nose and hints of small red-fleshed fruit. The palate is round and fresh, marked by a light touch of spice, and moderately persistent.<\/p>\n
