Cuv\u00e9e Prestige Ros\u00e9 Edizione 47 comes from a painstaking selection and handling of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Winemaking begins with a short \u201cros\u00e9\u201d maceration that gives the wine its colour; fermentation follows in small barrels and steel vats at controlled temperature; then come ageing, the making of the cuv\u00e9e, bottling and further ageing on the lees. It all ends with disgorgement in the absence of oxygen, through a process Ca\u2019 del Bosco developed for the purpose.<\/p>\n
The salmon pink opens on the nose with pleasant floral notes of rose and peony and fruit of pomegranate and strawberry. The taste is fresh, with a fine effervescence. <\/p>\n
