Cuv\u00e9e Prestige Ca\u2019 del Bosco Edizione 42<\/a> interprets the essence of Franciacorta through a blend of reserve wines from the collection<\/strong>. There are 139 in all, from 141 vineyard plots and 4 different vintages. Aged on the lees for at least 25 months, with a low dosage and an Extra Brut taste, this Cuv\u00e9e Prestige stands out for its freshness and balance on the palate, and surprises with its great aromatic richness. Like all Ca\u2019 del Bosco Franciacorta wines, Edizione 42 is pleasant and pure, thanks to the oxygen-free d\u00e9gorgement<\/strong> system devised and patented by the winery.<\/p>\n

From Cuv\u00e9e Prestige to the Ca\u2019 del Bosco method<\/h2>\n

Cuv\u00e9e Prestige<\/a> is the soul of the Erbusco winery. In this wine Ca\u2019 del Bosco brings together the taste and scent of the territory, the qualities of the grapes and the art of winemaking refined over the years; at its heart is the magical ritual of creating the Cuv\u00e9e<\/strong>, in which the winery blends the base wines with the noble reserve wines of the best vintages. It is completed by an average of 25 months\u2019 ageing on the lees and an oxygen-free d\u00e9gorgement that avoids oxidative shock and further additions of sulphites. It is often at precisely this stage that the wine undergoes severe stress, and to counter it producers use large doses of sulphur dioxide and antioxidants. Ca\u2019 del Bosco, instead, patented a special corking machine that solves the problem at source, using technology that removes the oxygen before corking.<\/p>\n

The result is a pure, pleasant and long-lived Ca\u2019 del Bosco Franciacorta<\/strong>, a sparkling wine that expresses its richness with a decisive, unmistakable personality.<\/p>\n
