Santa Teresa 1796

Santa Teresa distillery founded in 1796 by the Count of Tovar y Blanco and still owned by the Vollmer family originally from Hamburg, is one of the best known distilleries in the rum world. His production, characterized by the "solera" technique, finds its maximum expression in "Santa Teresa 1796, Ron Antiguo de Solera". The blend is composed of vintages ranging from 4 years of maturation up to 35 and clearly, since it is impossible to establish the precise ripening of rum, the company avoids to put years to indicate aging.

It has a beautiful dark amber color with copper reflections. Honey, caramel, vanilla and toffee soft nose. On the palate caramel chestnut honey, vanilla, light chocolate.
