The name itself derives from Vaio dei Masi, the small valley acquired at the end of the 18th century by the Boscaini family, which still owns it today. Today Masi is present in the best terroirs of the Venezie with vineyards and historic estates. Since 1973, he has collaborated in Valpolicella with the Conti Serego Alighieri, direct descendants of the poet Dante. More recently it has been involved in Trentino with the Bossi Fedrigotti Counts who for centuries have dedicated themselves to viticulture with love and professionalism. All while pursuing the ambitious project of recovering the luster of the agricultural and winemaking tradition of the Triveneta nobility. The Venezie has always been a land suitable for viticulture, thanks to a great variety of historically recognized terroirs. Masi has selected the best vineyards in the foothills and hills, paying particular attention to the enhancement of individual vineyards - cru - that express the excellence of the area and from which wines with a unique personality are produced.
