Sergio Zenato founded his winery in 1960 on the Veneto side south of Lake Garda, in the lands of Lugana and Valpolicella, devoting himself with passion and great spirit of enterprise to the cultivation of native vines such as Trebbiano di Lugana and the renowned Corvina, Rondinella and Osoleta. Thanks to new winemaking techniques and a strong bond with the territory, today the Zenato company, led by his sons and his wife, extends for 75 hectares between the S. Cristina Estate in San Benedetto di Lugana and the Costalunga Estate in Valpolicella, and exports high quality wines such as the famous Amarone Zenato, in 60 countries of the world, synonymous with excellence and dedication to the territory.

Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore by Zenato shows an intense ruby ​​red color and a delicate scent of marasca cherries and berries. On the palate it shines with its dry, soft and structured flavor, with a long and tasty finish with an aftertaste of cherries and plums. The Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grapes are harvested by hand in the first ten days of October, followed by de-stemming and maceration for 10 days in steel. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is separated from the skins with soft pressing and refined in oak barrels for at least 12 months. An excellent Valpolicella worthy of the fame of the Zenato winery.
