Tenute Gregu is a reality that has its experience in viticulture in the early 1900s when the Gregu family produced wine both for personal needs and for sale. The bond with the land has always been strong for the Gregu and despite a period they moved away from the estate, now the call of the land and the territory has influenced the most enterprising descendants to start this new and ancient adventure. The estate is immersed in Gallura among the cork and holm oak woods of Mount Limbara where nature is uncontaminated and where the sea breezes caress the vineyards. The terroir is perfect for the cultivation of Vermentino which finds one of its highest expressions in the Gallura area.
The care in the vineyard is essential for a healthy and "coarse" from which to produce complex wines with good freshness.

The Selenu Vermentino di Gallura DOCG by Tenute Gregu is produced entirely from Vermentino grapes in purity grown on a granitic decaying soil with the espalier training system. After the manual harvest with small boxes, roughly the first decay of October, the grapes are de-stemmed and pressed. The must is clarified by static decantation at a controlled temperature and fermented with selected yeasts. The wine remains on the lees for 4 months.

Tenute Gregu's Selenu Vermentino di Gallura DOCG has a straw yellow color with a soft, long and persistent entry, with mineral notes and hints of ripe fruit. On the palate it is fresh with a bouquet of intense and floral aromas.
