The Gilfenstein winery was founded in Alto Adige with the intention of enhancing the winemaking tradition of this area, a heritage to be valued and preserved. From here, constant care in the pursuit of excellence, with the sole aim of producing excellent quality wines representing the uniqueness of the vineyards from which they come.

The vines from which Gilfenstein's Gewürztraminer comes from are bred with Pergola Trentina system on sandy soil of porphyry origin at an altitude of 300 meters above the sea level. Once they reach phenolic maturation, the bunches are processed in a controlled atmosphere to preserve their aromatic component which is very important in this grape. It's a pleasant, fresh wine, with spicy scents of cloves and fruity notes of lychee, mango and citronella in a balance between harmony and persistence.
