Müller Thurgau

The name of the Rottensteiner family originates from the red stone typical of the South Tyrolean region, porphyry. It's here that Hans Rottensteiner 50 years ago fulfilled the dream of producing his wine. The winery was born in 1956 and since then has become a family affair, from generation to generation, continuing until today to use the fruits of the 10 hectares of family vineyards, and the grapes of over 60 farmers in the area. An authentic and passionate production, which takes into account the typical features of the individual varieties, in particular those typical of the Bolzano area such as Lagrein and Santa Maddalena.

Müller Thurgau Rottensteiner is obtained from grapes grown at a high altitude at around 600-700 meters and the high altitude contributes to defining the typical aroma of the wine as well as a marked flavor, distinctive elements of the vine. The fermentation at controlled temperature of 20 ° C is followed by maturation and aging in steel tanks, to preserve the fruit and enhance the elegance at the basis of its consolidated reputation. Perfect with fish or white meat dishes, with delicate and not too spicy flavors.
