Lagrein

The Gilfenstein winery was founded in Alto Adige with the intention of enhancing the winemaking tradition of this area, a heritage to be valued and preserved. From here, constant care in the pursuit of excellence, with the sole aim of producing excellent quality wines representing the uniqueness of the vineyards from which they come.

The vines from which this Lagrein comes from are bred according to the Guyot system on alluvial soils at 300 meters above sea level. After fermentation in steel tanks, the wine is aged for 6 months before bottling. Its rich bouquet of aromas it's very typical, from vanilla to liquorice, from black tea to blueberry, in a harmony of taste and well-structured taste that make Lagrein by Gilfenstein long-lasting and persistent.
