Sauvignon Blanc

The Gilfenstein winery was founded in Alto Adige with the intention of enhancing the winemaking tradition of this area, a heritage to be valued and preserved. From here, constant care in the pursuit of excellence, with the sole aim of producing excellent quality wines representing the uniqueness of the vineyards from which they come.

The vines from which Gilfstein's Sauvignon Blanc comes from are grown with the Guyot system on clayey and sandy soils at 400 meters above sea level. Once ripe, the grapes are processed in a controlled atmosphere to preserve their typical aromatic component. Hence the fruity notes on the nose, and a pleasant acidity on the palate, the slightly bitter nuance and the full and persistent flavor.
