Bolgheri Bianco

Bolgheri Bianco Donna Olimpia 1898 is a very successful white wine. The grapes are grown on a sandy loamy soil formed in a continental, helical, colluvial environment, with a yield of about 70%, equivalent to 56hl of wine per hectare. The harvest takes place at full maturity in September. The grapes, selected in the vineyard, are then taken to the cellar to be vinified. After pressing and decanting, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel wine tanks at a controlled temperature, and, once this is completed, a first racking is carried out, after which the wine rests on the fine lees for 14 months undergoing repeated stirring in order to deposited the yeasts on the bottom. Last this long period of refinement, the wine is cold stabilized and bottled. This technique makes the product more pleasant to the taste and very long-lived.

Bolgheri Bianco Donna Olimpia 1898 has a bright and lively straw yellow color of medium intensity. On the clear wide nose with mineral notes, citrus, white gold, candy and honey. Sapid, full, warm on the palate with a persistent and pleasant finish.
