Riserva Ducale Oro Great selection

Riserva Ducale Oro Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is produced in the best vintages, that is when the grapes are vinified separately, parcel by parcel. It is obtained thanks to a very strict respect for the territorial typicality and the pedoclimatic variety. The alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in steel vats at 27 ° with constant punching down for about 10 days, followed by a post-fermentation maceration on the skins for another 10 days, the malolactic transformation takes place in concrete tanks.

The grapes come from vineyards of the Gretole and Santedame estates located in the heart of Castellina in Chianti. The soil on which they stand is of clayey-silty or clayey-sandy type which are rich in skeleton and galeastro, at an altitude from 250 to 400 meters above sea level.
