Le Terre Rosse is Corte dei Venti's Toscana Rosso IGT born with the idea of producing a wine that is allowed to drink one glass after another, intended for the most convivial occasions. Intense and brilliant ruby red color, deep aroma of red fruit, hints of clove and cocoa. On the palate it's round, enveloping and with good persistence.

Corte dei Venti is a family farm whose origins date back to 1943, with the purchase by the Pieri family of the Piancornello farm in Montalcino. Silvana inherited it after the death of her maternal grandfather in the 80s, and this is how Corte dei Venti was born, today managed with her grandchildren and founded on generations of peasant culture. The vineyards extend over 5 hectares of hilly territory on clayey-calcareous soils and well exposed to the wind, hence the name of the company, which blows from the sea and facilitates the prolonged ripening of the grapes, ensuring an excellent harvest year by year. In addition to the vineyards, three hectares are dedicated to centuries-old olive trees that give a high quality oil, to seal an approach devoted to the care of the land and sustainability.

The Terre Rosse is inspired by the rich composition of the land where the vineyards are located, a red soil of tuff and limestone, ferrous and volcanic clay. Born from the assembly of lots destined for other family jewels such as Silvana and Brunello, with Merlot, Syrah grapes in addition to Sangiovese. Result a very pleasant wine to drink with hints of undergrowth and balsamic notes, with a good structure.
