Rosso di Montalcino by the Ferrero winery testifies to the excellent work done over the years by Claudia Ferrero. Ruby red color with violet reflections, and a large bouquet that recalls the typical and decisive aromas of Sangiovese. A balanced wine with a round, fruity and slightly savory taste, with a long and persistent finish. A bottle that perfectly expresses the terroir from which it comes.

The Ferrero farm is located in Podere Pascena, about halfway between S.Angelo in Colle and S.Angelo Scalo, two hamlets on the southern side of the municipality of Montalcino in the heart of Tuscany. The farm revolves around a stone farmhouse built in the early 1900s and renovated in the 80s, used on the first floor as a dwelling, on the ground floor as a cellar together with the agricultural outbuildings recently transformed into cellars for winemaking and aging. The vineyard is located at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level, covering an area of 3 hectares on an average clayey, poor and calcareous soil. The company is run by Claudia Ferrero together with Pablo, who after their studies in oenology, managed to passionately create a cellar that combines tradition and innovation in a singular and effective way. This is testified by a series of excellent wines produced in a magical context among olive and cypress trees set in the wonderful Tuscan landscape.
Rosso di Montalcino Ferrero was born with the aim of expressing in the best way the fruit of a land dedicated to wine since time immemorial. The harvest is manual and the selection of the bunches is accurate and rigorous. The fermentation on the skins lasts at least 15 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°C. Aging takes place both in steel and in barriques for at least 12 months, after which the wine is ready to be bottled and surprise fans with its strong personality.
